CanSpeak promotes the needs, preferences and priorities of Australians affected by cancer. With one in two persons affected by cancer potentially eligible for Radiotherapy and not receiving this mode of treatment, is indeed a major matter.

CanSpeak recognises the value of information and choice for persons affected by cancer. Radiotherapy is a viable, safe and effective treatment choice for localised cancers and it can be effective as pain control for metastatic cancer. CanSpeak welcomes the opportunity to support ‘Targeting Cancer’ at a local and national level by working collaboratively with health service organisations, government, non-government and charitable organisations for better outcomes and improved health services.
