Evrim’s Story

Evrim was 3 months pregnant with Ela when she discovered a sarcoma (tumour of the body’s soft tissues). She underwent surgery to remove it, then waited until Ela was big enough to be safely induced. Following the birth, Evrim began radiation therapy to ensure that any cancerous cells remaining after surgery were destroyed.

During treatment, Evrim dealt not only with the cancer, but the adjustments faced by any new mum. She believes it was the best decision for her.

Evrim has been cancer-free since her treatment, and is now the proud Mum of two beautiful daughters.
