Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand

Men diagnosed with prostate cancer must make hugely important decisions about treatment in conjunction with their doctors. Current and complete information must be accessible in order for them to make informed choices. The Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ strives to inform New Zealand men about the best treatment options available to them, and to offer support.

Radiation therapy should be considered by men and their doctors. It is a safe and effective treatment option, often with minimal side effects that limit the impact on quality of life post-treatment. New Zealanders and Australians are fortunate to have radiation therapy sectors that work closely together to develop innovative treatment techniques that improve clinical outcomes.
