TROG Cancer Research welcomes the opportunity to support the Targeting Cancer campaign as it provides better information to cancer patients about radiotherapy. As the peak Australasian body for radiotherapy research, TROG investigates ways in which radiotherapy can improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

However, techniques and technologies are continually evolving and as such, can prove challenging for a patient to comprehend. We greatly encourage the sharing of information to clearly explain this safe and effective treatment, and through increased knowledge, improve the treatment experience for patients and their families. This is a fantastic initiative.
