Cancer Institute NSW have put together a fact sheet on the treatment options for prostate cancer. This information is designed to support health professionals, patients and carers.
There are a number of treatment options available for men with prostate cancer which is localised to the prostate or to the immediate area around the prostate.
You are strongly encouraged to get more than one specialist opinion about the management of your prostate cancer. It is important that you take time to get all the up-to-date and accurate information from the relevant experts so you can make the choice that’s right for you.
