First GP Oncology Education Evening

Targeting Cancer’s first Oncology Education Evening for GPs kicked off on Wednesday, 15 October at the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, Westmead Hospital.

This will be the first in a national program of GP-focused education evenings designed to provide information about cancer treatments, in particular radiation therapy.

The program is all about providing information to general practitioners on where radiation therapy could benefit a patient either for cure or alleviation of symptoms such as pain.
