Dr. Komaki is a professor of radiation oncology and the Gloria Lupton Tennison Distinguished Professor in Lung Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She grew up in Hiroshima, Japan. In memory of a childhood friend who died in Hiroshima, Ritsuko Komaki uses the power of radiation to save lives.
