Tim Bailey’s For a Cause- Targeting Cancer

Lucas, Radiation Therapy and the Targeting Cancer campaign took centre stage on Tim Bailey’s Pause for a Cause on Channel 10 News, Thursday 4 February- World Cancer Day.

Lucas – now aged 3 years old was given radiation therapy after surgery for a brain tumour to stop the cancer coming back. Lucas tolerated the treatment well and he is now going to pre-school, has normal behaviour, growth and development. A happy little child likely cured with no long-term side-effects.

World Cancer Day unites the world’s population in the fight against cancer. It aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about the disease, pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action.
