Lymphoma Australia

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system and is the 5th most common cause of cancer in Australia. Lymphoma Australia speaks on behalf of those people, giving them a voice, funding research and striving towards access to clinical excellence for each affected person.

Radiation therapy is an important and effective treatment for lymphoma, targeting cancer at a local level. It can be used in isolation or together with other treatments. Radiation therapy achieves good clinical outcomes through strict monitoring of radiation doses given to patients.

Lymphoma Australia encourages all Australians newly diagnosed with lymphoma to talk about all treatment options with their doctors, and ask them if radiation therapy is a suitable option for them.
