Neva’s Story

Neva was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2013. She discussed treatment options with her doctors, including her Radiation Oncologist, and decided on radiation therapy. For seven weeks, each weekday, Neva attended her local radiation therapy centre for short treatment sessions that allowed her to get on with her normal life.

Neva is amazed at how few side effects she had. Other than temporary skin redness on her neck where the radiation was directed, she’s experienced very little reaction.

“I have to say I’m very grateful for how few problems I’ve had with the radiation therapy. I’m still waiting for my results to come through, but I’m already very happy with my decision.”
